Mobile Marketing


This week we discussed mobile marketing techniques, one of which being mobile web page and email optimisation. This simple to understand technique is to make sure that your websites and emails all function correctly in a readable and user friendly manner on mobile devices. Making the website responsive would be a great way to go about this as it would make everything adjust to the screen size being used and as long as all your font and images are okay on the website they should be good on the phone. 

Another was about the use of push notifications. when using these there are three good rules to follow "Provide value... Make it visual... Personalize..." (Welch, 2018) To provide value you need to make the notification worth while to read, tell the user something which they wanna see like a sale or and update on something they were interested in. Make it visual is easy enough, include some sort of visual component to grab there interest more, and to Personalize it simply add there name or user name to the messege to make it feel more intimate and personal.
